Bio

At Eastern Michigan and Valparaiso, I got into the business of non-profits, writing, and broadcasting for one reason: to tell a story. The art of story-telling has been in me since I was young by giving people the platform to tell their stories and, therefore, chase their own dreams. Through service, film, and broadcast, I give people the opportunity to share their whys and stories. In all of my projects, you will see storytelling and the patience to get the right quote, angle, and vision.

My experience as a college athlete has given me patience above all else. Patience to know when to plunge on and when to pivot and look elsewhere. Also, college athletics have taught me to keep my eyes on the stars, and my feet on the ground, but most of all, always believe in the vision. Through being a college athlete I know all about controlling the things I can control and where there is a will there is a way. I know the dedication it takes to put a vision together and see it through. I always had a vision of giving back to the city of Detroit and the surrounding areas as soon as possible.

This is why I started my non-profit Doer Football Skills & Recruitment Camp in Detroit to inspire and prepare the next generation of kids for the opportunity to achieve their dreams. I was in a position where I could now open doors for the next generation. Going through the steps in creating a non-profit was challenging, but the most rewarding part was giving kids opportunities and mentors to further their dreams and not make the same mistakes I did. The biggest goal in all of my projects is to give the subjects of my story a platform and opportunity to tell their story and further their dream, whether that is through writing, video, or radio. The objective remains the same: to open doors for others to share their vision and who they are.
